Just to bring you up to date. I have e-mailed an enquiry into Warwickshire County Council who have confirmed for me that Greenmoor Road has been surveyed many times and that there are no engineering works planned. They seem quite happy with the speed of the vehicles as well quoting average speeds (through the speed cameras I notice) that seem quite acceptable.
I have accepted an offer of a Road Safety Pack and have called for a SpeedAware campaign to be used on this stretch of road. I am still awaiting details but will update you as soon as I have any.
i know as will any residents reading this that yes the average speed through the speed camera is quite acceptable but the speed surfing that takes place on the road is not.
Only the changing of drivers habits will cure the problem but hopefully a SpeedAware campaign will help.
